6 months late.... *cough*

Firstoff, i have finally regained my subscription *jumps into air whooping*, so...i realize that i really don't want to put every bleeding picture up as a deviation...i would die...so i am stealing the way my awesome inspiration the tuxedo team, or morenless Jin, does the way they do journals...or attempting... ^^ 'course they won't be half as good, and i'm not trying to be as amazing or anything as Jin or the tuxedo team...i just think the way they do things is smart, and conserves time...although this is going to take forever...XD

Cutting right to the chase, the long mother of a con Animeoasis 09 was awesome. It really was something going to a convention outside Utah's lines. 0.o' and here i thought i saw everything when i went to the MCR concert and that skinny, old, meth man was waltzing around in an uber short mini skirt...

Well, to kick it off; on the morning of wednesday March the 11th, both and myself met up with and her bf N8 and proceeded to follow Molly the hours long drive to Boise. I was reading to Raye the whole way...but...alas *sigh*...my graveyard overworked self couldn't take it and i kept slurring and nodding. My travel companion practically forced me to sleep. XD but, anyways...not much to say about the WAY there, except sadly we lost a poor soul. Kags lost her antenna zero ornament. T^T he was dancing for me and raye too...*inside story sorry*

But, we got to boise good (...good? ...) and kags' grandparent's house was awesome and they were very hospitable. ^^ But that first tiring day i do remember playing pool...and sadly having my butt whipped and handed back to me when i challenged n8..., trying to figure out how boise worked, watching pete's dragon (er...i think that was the first day...) and napping, which was a horrible idea. *slumps* my internal clock was bad enough without THAT screwing me up even more...*sigh* ah well...it's in the past.

But, we came back late, and the others proceeded to eat a questionable pizze called "californian chicken garlic pizza". Me, being the just slightly stubborn and picky one *cough* i didn't partake of it. *evil laugh* however, the others all seemed to have problems and bowel movements that night and next day *busts out laughing, then wipes the tears out of his eyes while heaving a sigh* man, i'm glad i didn't eat that sucker.

After that first night of horrid restless sleep we awoke and got ready for the con. That first day was going to be uniform, but that was the only day raye was going to go as Haruhi...



So our mikuru was all battle waitressed out XD.

We thought it/us were amazing...but that was about it. XD (although i think we looked awesome, and i still find it odd that people wanted our pictures, but seperate from one another...and people thought we were from ouran high host club at a point...and couldn't tell me and itsuki apart -_-; oh well...i do wonder if idaho gets stuff after we do...)

Couple more things, a word often used in idaho....epic. It was said to us and in general many times...i kinda grew to it, but it was ...odd...makes you wonder if us saying psych and sweet is something utahns say a lot....and oh heck..*shrugs*...maybe the whole world's saying it...wtv, not important. second, they had the best gaming room ever! 0.o the one at banzai didn't compare...with its maybe 7 gaming systems...the one at oasis had 20 plus arcade games and gaming systems...plus the ultimate lurve...

Needless to say it was a favorite...to me and n8 at least. We kept on being sucked in like it was a tracter beam *zhoooo* sucked us right in whenever we had free time to screw around. *is still going through withdrawls* hehehe NO MALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD ...other inside joke, sorry... the room was open...but closed off with many people in it = hella hot. So, to compensate, there were a couple fans going full blow, one right next to NBA Jam...which, as i obnoxiously taunted itsuki while he wiped the floor with me, the girls made GOOD use of. *slaps forehead with open palm*

Back to the first day...we made sure we knew where to go, and up the road to the hotel (it was at the boise airport holiday inn) we saw a HI on our right....and we pulled in. It was dinky, and there was no way that a convention 4 days long would be held there. Needless to say we still looked, but, hoping we pulled back onto the main road finding a much bigger version...and we saw someone with bright colored hair in the parking lot. *cue expensive lighting...opening of the sky, chorus of angels, and hallellujah praise jesus music*

After first squirrelling over the gaming room, DDR and NBA jammin and something i don't remember the name of (gomen raye/kags XD)and checking out the dealers room (it was PACKED 0.o)...


Awesome anime peeps. <3 got us so much amazing crap. SAN KYU!! ^^

...We were starving and proceeded back to the parking lot to get something to eat at the mall...where a guy asked if we were from Sailor Moon...-_- raye told him no, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya...and his eyes got all wide as if in "Holy fudgemonkey batman". so, gathering our foodstuffs and lodging them into our mouths at the mall (yay orange julius for Kyon)

I noticed that some random couple kept turning to look at us...i wasn't staring back, they were just right in my line of bored onlooking...everyone was staring, or trying to make it look like they WEREN'T...but these two kept at it until they threw away their garbage and the dude walked over to us with a huge smile on his face and asked if he could take a picture of us with him. *image of the four of us staring at him with mouths open full of food* he didn't even know what we were doing, or what we were from. XD His companion looked kinda curiously at us and asked "So...are you guys harujuku people?" I almost cried in joy. so close. So we graciously posed with him and thanked him. However, we were so hyped up that we forget to get HIS picture...i really wanted to stalk the whole mall and try to find those guys, they made our freakin day. ^^ to whoever you are, you rock and you make us cosplayers thrilled even if you didn't know wth we were doing...XD *chucks kudos* after lunch we walked to the HUGE borders they had in the mall(their manga section was amazing also)...and made EXCELLENT use of the props....


Entering, we began the start of a ritual...you may not see, hear, or talk of haruhi....no.

Getting back to the con before 5, we sat and waited for the opening ceremony...which, no offense practically put me to sleep....*eyes roll back in head*...but before that this awesome guy was dressed as L singing all sorts of anime songs...such as the openings of chobits and host club...among other sang in JAPANESE, not the english versions...it was at this point i prodded n8 (our probable future L, and he's a real version of august rush, no kidding either) and was all "eh eh?? you could do that..." buuuuut....for the rest of the con Carlos (the guy who cosplayed and sang) dressed as women for the rest of the con...XD, oh the images. but for the sake of the sanity of a friend i will not say it.

After the drawling of going over the oasis schedule Ichidan proceeded to give a teaser for their deathnote skit. which was funny, cuz the power went out or something just as it was starting....the shinigami was AMAZING...


SIIIIDOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!!

Except we didn't get a picture of gelus...*frowns*...but nonetheless amazing. We saw giant amazing Ryuk after the show...but our Haruhi accidentily said "Rem" instead of "Ryuk"...so no pictures with him holding his awesome scythe, *pats raye on the back* it happens raye, it's okay.

We also strayed towards the ndp comics table, who the woman at the table took our picture...twice...^^ during the first two days...you are awesome!!...she gave us...well particularly me...valuable information, which i'm glad i got. Upon seeing the manga production room i was dissapointed, but after talking to her it was better.

The SOS brigade then left to change into our swimming atire at the gparentals house...and went to the anime beach party, rather than the first rave. Which we saw an awesome Hinata in swimwear; it only took me two seconds before pointing to "her" and leaning to raye i stated "male"...she stared at him openmouthed....he was very convincing. it was carlos. ^^ i really wish i could have remembered to bring my camera EVERYWHERE!! *sigh* the one who won overall was a guy dressed as Lum the alien princess off of urasei yatsura, and upon accepting his certificate yanked off his bikini top and twirled it. XD the male award went to some guy in a mexican wrestling mask (sorry, i really don't know if he was on something...no offense intended), and the female award went to two girls swimming around in the pool with mermaid tails on swimming like they had fins...it was awesome. After the contest everyone pretty much left, so while everyone beelined for the hot tub (which i tried for just a second before nearly dying and running and leaping back into cooler waters) i watched chowder from a huge projection. And then we went home.

Friday we missed the ninja shows/tryouts...again. This time, all of us sported our uniforms having a yuki this time.


We met a haruhi dressed in a bunny outfit and had to get a picture. (first pic)

After that picture was taken i turned and my jaw almost dropped. by the front table was a small group of people...one of which was dressed as Rude. 0.o he was PERFECT. he was even daunting and very intimidating...and, of course, he had sunglasses on so it looked as if he was staring right at me. I was a deer caught in the headlights. (had i been cloud i probably would have snorted at him, and slyly tripped him with my buster sword, but i was kyon...a normal human with no powers) I finally dragged myself away, telling myself that it was very rude to stare...so stop. But that was our biggest picture taking spree.

Whereas ANOTHER haruhi yelled at both our mikuru and yuki asking what they thought they were doing and why they weren't out searching for aliens...XDDDDDD man, if only i were able to see that...but i was jammin'...meh heheh...

We then went to the mall again to grab a bite to eat and explore, yet again taking pictures...

...before getting chewed out, being told to stop taking pictures and leave by a security guard with 3 and 1/4 teeth...X( so, no model picture of kyon...*evil laugh*...i mean yeah...sad....*wipes away tear*...to put it bluntly, we fled with our tails tucked angrily between our legs...*cough*...only just after we went back to borders, purchased stuff and took one last picture before hauling it back to Glaedr. We were back to wait in the very front row for Mark Hildreth, voice of Heero Yui from gundam wing. Having a hard time NOT comparing him to Vic Migogna...*cough*...he was amusing, and we got most of his panel on video. ^^ After which was the lolita fashion show...which raye spreed over.

We then hurried to one of the showing rooms to watch some DBZ and toradora...





Going back to the dealers room, i bought myself two FF potions and a minato shirt, among several posters...we returned back to base...and i watched my friends play phase ten *points to self* not a fan of the card games...due to family issues....bleh bleh...but i got anxious towards the end...*points again*...is competetive. VERY competetive.

Saturday i woke very tired and depressed, it was horrible and daunting. Just the thought of it make me want to wallow under a rock. bah! right. So as i lay in bed, groaning on my brain being eaten away, the other three of our group got mark hildreth's autograph, among getting asked to have their pictures taken seperately....

They returned back to the house, just to change into casual rave wear....and, still being dbz high from the previous night, we took some video of casual kyon and itsuki doing the fusion dance as kags finished curling her hair...*comic coming soon hopefully in the future >3<*

That day was, by far, my most favorite.

Returning back to the holiday inn, we looked through the dealers AGAIN before going to the main room and helping clean up for the concert, only to end up doing the hare hare dance over and OVER again; ONLY to be kicked out. Running to the gaming room we proceeded to jam and to play this awesome game that's kinda like a mixture of rockband and ddr....but all you do is play a drum...we couldn't change the song, so that busted...but i want that game! *clenches fist* more jamming later...us guys lost the girls at one point, and went to wait by the door along with some others who stood glaring at us.

Turning to them, casual itsuki asked politely if the concert had started yet (we were hearing music and other things behind the closed door), a guy angstily turned to us and snottily spat, "THEY'RE PRACTICING!" like it was completely insulting we didn't know what the slants were doing every second of every day...*keh*...jerk...the memory still pisses me off. i believe we found yuki and mikuru in the dealers room for the upteenth time heheh...and we made our way to the opened doors that welcomed us into the darkened room where many people were jumping in a mosh.

I could just go over everything bit by bit...but it doesn't need to be said. My third concert=hella tight. The slants are a very VERY awesome band, peeps you should check 'em out. Although the girls stayed by me and itsuki a little, we practically had tunnel vision (at least i did XD) and i was moshing like a mofo...sweating like a very sweaty man...in my horrible white shoes that killed...and my hoodie that doesn't fit me anymore and kept obnoxiously unzipping, making me flash everyone with the fourth hokage...(hehehe yellow flash of konoha, hehe, i totally did mean to..*clears throat*..nvm...not funny) i love the high feeling of being at a good concert. I was so sore after though...*groans*...my feet...

BUT, after an awesome oncore, the band left via the crowd...and n8 totally jumped 4 feet in the air to catch the drumstick the drummer threw. XD no, really. Fleeing the hellish scene, dripping in sweat we made our way to the drinking fountains, catching the girls on the way. Sadly, they got growled at by the glo-stik peeps, and was waiting in the wrong line to have the band sign stuff...*pats both of their heads*...XD, sorry guys...but!! the rave busted itself out right after the concert, the lighting showing off the half nakedness and glo-stiks...dude that grimmojow raver cosplay was the bomb!! we also get zetsubou-sensei ^^...

And THAT was my first time going to any organized dance of any kind, *cough*...and it was awesome. All of us held hands and danced in a "ashes ashes" kind of fashion XD...and being hot i had taken my huge hoodis and wore it around my neck...aaaand...some random guy felt inclined to grab the sleeves of my hoodie and pull me against his pooch-wrapped, half-nekkedness. *dokun* wanting inwardly to just beat the living sh** out of the guy, but having the new ideal of not humiliating anyone i tried to give him HUGE hints to leave me the hell alone. I jumped away, he jumped back...and so forth and so on...i was so frustrated i couldn't say one freakin' word. Drunk weirdie. Finally he told me to pick someone else to dance with then...i grabbed the first person in view...little battle waitress mikuru...and she ran away from me...T.T...thankfully the mystery guy morphed back into the crowd, and i had to contain myself. I was shaking, XD...all i could think was "so THIS is how kyohei feels..." and thinking i'm a wuss. *bleh*...i had strange dreams that night, someone shoot me. *cries under a rock* casual itsuki got a picture of the guy. *angsty glare* you traitorous esper...i'll kill you.
but, it was still awesome. ^^ and jammin' made me feel better.

Sunday we weren't expecting to stay long...as we had a drive ahead of us. but, i think it was this day we busted out FF unlimited and almost or got halfway through it. "You are so cool." XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD man, i want to cosplay that. But this day was planned to be our festival going day...we carried parasols and wore oriental stuff that day. some weirdie asked kags for her picture and she was all...omg, wanna pic with all of us? all nervously. XD, We were planning on going to Ichidan's deathnote skit...but we got a bit preoccupied with the anime stand in the dealers room...and...we kinda missed the first part...and i didn't want to watch it if i didn't get the whole thing...so we just left. I only got a pic of lil' mikuru (heheh she raps) in her dress in the back seat.

but overall, the con was awesome. thanks for all that asked for our pictures...and for the amazing cosplayers that we got pix of. hope to see you at other cons. ^^

okay...*slumps*...just a quick thought. Raye's birthday is coming up and we're planning on doing a mini photoshoot at bear lake of more haruhi suzumiya, this time with amazing seiya as haruhi...(woo! we're having the whole sos brigade!) which is gonna be awesome! we're also gonna go to the Dragonball movie as casual bleach. HEY, WE'RE BOTH SHONENJUMP! DON'T START! so prolly more pix later...cuz n8 got some awesome ones, and technically my video camera REALLY shouldn't be used as just a camera...but hey, it works....XD
